Tube Products of India, established in 1955 and part of the 2.4 billion Murugappa Group, is the largest manufacturer of Precision Welded Steel tubes in India.

TI has now set up a new facility in China , M/s Tubular Precision Products ( Suzhou ) Company Limited , at Suzhou Industrial Park , Jiangsu Province for manufacture of Precision Cold Drawn and Welded Steel tubes . The plant has a capacity of 12000 Tons per annum in the first phase. 

The company caters to the automotive industry , with applications including tubing for Shock absorbers, Drive shafts , Anti-vibration mountings and bushes, Axles, Steering and suspension systems, and side impact beams.

Current Size Range of TPP's tubing includes 

• Electric Resistance Welded ( ERW ) tubes with an outer diameter of 25.40 mm to 101.60 mm and wall thickness of 1.00 mm to 6.00 mm 

• Cold Drawn Welded ( CDW ) tubes with an Outer Diameter of 15.00 mm to 88.90 mm and wall thickness of 0.80mm to 5.00 mm

The company produces tubes that complies with stringent international standards including ASTM , BS , DIN , JIS , GB and other Customer specific standards. 

The plant has been certified to ISO 9001 standars in April 2008.
